I can’t wait to wander through its cobbled streets, admiring the intricate Inca stonework blended with Spanish colonial architecture. I’m also planning to explore the Sacred Valley, visiting sites like Ollantaytambo and Pisac, where I can almost hear the echoes of a legendary past. And of course, there’s Machu Picchu itself – while I might choose an alternative route to get there, experiencing the sheer scale and mystery of this ancient citadel is a must.

I also want to experience the traditional music and dances, perhaps even take part in a local celebration. This connection with the living culture is what truly makes a trip special for me.
