Our Tour to Machu Picchu begins very early in the morning. We pick you up at your hotel at 4:00 am, and then head in our private transportation to the Ollantaytambo train station to depart on the expedition train at 6:10 am.
We will take a trip through the cultivated fields of the Peruvian Andes and white snow-capped mountains, we will cross valleys of intricate shapes, layers of Inca artisanal terraces, snow-capped mountains and subtropical jungle near the Amazon from Ollantaytambo. The sacred Vilcanota River will be our companion until our arrival in Aguas Calientes.
Our professional guide will meet you at the Aguas Calientes train station around 7:30 am and will transfer you to Machu Picchu by shuttle bus. Following in the ancient and remote footsteps of the Lost City of the Incas, listen carefully to the 2.5-hour guided tour and cultural exchange of the history of Machu Picchu.
You will have time to walk and explore, take pictures or walk to Puerta del Sol. Returning to Aguas Calientes, you will have time to have lunch and take the afternoon train at 2:55 or 3:20 p.m. with the Expedition train to Ollantaytambo, where you will be transferred by private van back to your hotel in Cusco.
Expedition Train Tour
The Expedition service is designed for traveler comfort, as you will be able to share your experience with four passenger seats facing each other. An upper luggage compartment is offered for the backpack.
Andean music is played throughout the trip, panoramic windows, air conditioning and heating.
The expedition service departs from Ollantaytambo, located 2 hours from Cusco.
This is a travel experience with all the quality and benefits of the Peruvian railway at a lower cost.

We will welcome you at the Cusco airport and transfer you to your hotel, so be sure to inform us of your flight details at least 14 days before your trip. Be on the lookout for our representative who has an orange board with the logo of Our Travel Agency in the arrivals terminal. You must exit the terminal to find our representative (they cannot enter).
The informative talk will take place the night before the walk at 6pm at our office, located at Calle Santa Teresa Nº383; office 107 (second floor). We are next to the Subway sandwich store and share a lobby with the Hotel Casona Corrales.

We would appreciate if you pay in cash at our office (we accept US dollars or Peruvian soles). We have many ATMs in the center of Cusco. You can also pay with VISA or PAYPAL online, but you will have to pay a 5.5% service fee, charged by VISA and PAYPAL. To pay your balance through PAYPAL, you must log in to your PAYPAL account using our email address
Yes! You must bring your original passport and it is very important that you have the same passport number that you sent us to reserve your Machu Picchu 1 day tour permit. Your passport will be checked when you enter Machu Picchu, the Inca Trail and when you board the train. In case you are renewing your passport, go ahead and send us a copy of your old passport to secure your permit and we can exchange it when you get your new passport. If so, send us a copy of your new passport as soon as possible.
Absolutely!!! pick-ups and drop-offs to your hotel are included in all our packages! If you have booked your hotel in the Sacred Valley, we will drop you off there and vice versa.
If you are satisfied with the services provided, our staff will appreciate a tip, although it is not obligatory. While it may not be customary, it is of great importance to the people who will be taking care of you during the trek. It inspires excellent service and is an ingrained feature of the tourism industry in many destinations. Of course, you are free to tip as much as you wish, depending on your perception of the quality and length of your trip.
