For those who want to live a unique and memorable experience, we present the adventure tour that includes a visit to four lagoons with a night camp, located in the valleys south of Cusco. These bodies of water are impressive, each with different characteristics and exclusive ecosystems that are not found anywhere else in the Cusco region. You will have the opportunity to explore each of them by bicycle, kayak or canoe, allowing you to enjoy a truly exceptional experience that most are unaware of.
We begin our day with pickup from your hotel, then head toward the province of Acomayo to visit our first lagoon, Pomacanchi, recognized for its diversity of native aquatic life. Subsequently, we undertake a bicycle tour to the second lagoon (20 km – flat terrain), famous for its unique population of birds such as flamingos, Andean ibis, seagulls, among other species.
After lunch, we will establish our camp next to the Pampa Marca lagoon. In the afternoon, we will delight in canoeing and kayaking activities. Finally, we will enjoy our dinner at the camp.
Accommodation: Camp overnight.
After enjoying a delicious early breakfast, we drive 35 minutes to the city of Quewe, where the ancient Inca rope bridge stands. Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to admire it and cross it, feeling an indescribable emotion while enjoying the views of the Apurímac River. Afterwards, we return to camp to enjoy an early lunch.
Subsequently, we headed to the starting point of the trail in Palcoyo, a journey of approximately 1.3 hours. After taking a short break, we begin a gradual 30-45 minute uphill hike to Palcoyo Pass (5000 m/16,400 ft).
From this point, you can delight in spectacular panoramic views of the peaks of Montaña de Colores and Palcoyo, as well as the imposing Ausangate, the highest mountain in the Cusco region.
We will spend approximately 1 hour at the pass, capturing photographs, enjoying a snack, and admiring the stunning scenery. Once we have enjoyed it to the fullest, we begin our return following the same path.
Then, we board our private transportation back to Cusco, with arrival scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
You will be met at the Cusco airport and transferred to your hotel. Be sure to inform us of your flight details at least 14 days before your trip. Be attentive to our representative who has a board in the arrivals terminal. You must leave the terminal to meet our representative (they cannot enter).
